The innoFADER boasts another first for any crossfader - onboard adjustment of both the cut-in point and the curve
In most cases, mixers do not offer cut-in point control, instead being left to under the hood manual modifications to reduce the unusable dead space of the fader. The innoFADER however offers a “cut-in” adjustment and depending on your needs, can be used to reduce or increase the dead space. Newer models allow separate left and right adjustments.
To work with most mixers and controllers, the innoFADER curve adjustment standard operation has a fixed midpoint. This ensures that whatever you do affects the left and right sides equally. You can easily adjust the curve to work in conjunction with your mixer controls to achieve whatever fading or cutting action you want.
With two fully controllable outputs, the innoFADER can be set up for overlap control throughout the length of the fader using the Y curve setting. You can take advantage of this function on mixers such as Allen and Heath, Stanton, and Vestax mixers which use both control signals. You may want to tweak the “dip” in the middle or simply set up a curve that feels more natural.
The innoFADER gives you all the options you could ever need to achieve the perfect curve response on mixers that might not even have any curve options at all.
